I'm completly new here and i might post on the wrong part of the forum ... will post in history too.

So i was wondering what kind of cars was it possible to find in Teheran in the 50's. I know IranKhodro wasn't created yet, so it must have been English and American imported cars. But anyone could name a brand and a model, or point me a direction where i could find answers ?

Historically speaking, aren't progressives always "right" ...in the sense that their ideas eventually bear fruit? Politically speaking, aren't they always ahead of the curve? And don't reactionary (or conservative) politics always lose over the long term? As the past rarely works as prologue...

Certainly, there are exceptions (e.g., nutters and extreme radicals could be labeled "progressives") But generally speaking, conservative politics don't seem to conserve much of anything (at least for long). The past simply isn't worth conserving (this has been particularly true with social causes, civil rights, economic models etc.).

Thoughts?

Friends,
I am new member here from Germany. I have a question from the Iranian community and those who have any knowledge about paying Mehrieh in Iran.

My wife and I have decided to seperate and we are going to Iran to do this. I wanted to know how long it will be before I can leave Iran again. I will have to pay mehrieh and because I have to pay in installments means I must go to court. Do you know how long I will be mamnoo ol khorooj?

Any help will be good.

I was shocked to see the news today - Iran police officials arrested MLM marketers of a very reputed copany today?
Just wondering why is this happening? MLM is a legal business model which is quite popular all over the world. I myself am a MLM representative and have done quite well with many companies. Infact many of the members under me are earning their livelihood out of it

Iran govt's mismanagement and inefficient bureaucracy, as well as political and ideological infighting, is hampering the formulation and execution of a consolidated economic policy, and this is something we Iranians should worry about?

I'd really appreciate some responses to this one
